AS Gill, IPS has been appointed as Director General, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) with effect from March 1, 2009. The appointment will be until his superannuation on January 31, 2010 or till further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
RK Bhatia, IPS, presently Additional DG, CISF, has been appointed as Director General, National Disaster Response Force & Civil Defence (NDRF&CD). His appointment will take effect from the date of his joining and until his superannuation on August 31, or till further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
P Mukherjee, IPS has been appointed as Director General, Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D). His appointment will take effect from the date of his joining and until his superannuation on September 30, or till further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
