After seeing how ineffective the basic padlocks, hasp and staples and lockable bolts were against the types of tools used by criminals, Keith Humphris, created a non-electronic product said to offer better resistance to attack by thieves using bolt cutters, levers, crowbars, saws and drills.

Both parts of the Neulock are bolted through the frame and the door. Locks have concealed fixings and are weather resistant; their unique shape makes them bolt cutter and lever resistant. Both have anti drill/anti saw hardened steel front plate, shaft and a seven lever pick resistant lock.
