Panasonic launches dome with ABS
The camera features 540 TV lines of resolution and a 2.5 mm fixed focal length lens. The day/night function means clear images can be captured with its sensitivity of 1.2 lux in colour mode at F2.0.
Adaptive Black Stretch is designed to enhance the visibility of dark areas. ABS is an image processing algorithm built-in to the newly-developed DSP which enables the transformation of shadows and dark areas into natural and clear images in real time without degrading the image quality in bright areas, Panasonic says.
ABS can also be found on the Panasonic WV-CP280, WV-CF294 and WV-CF284 low cost analogue cameras.
