This month, Paxton’s current md Drew Hoggatt bows out after 21 years at the top. He’s leaving the organisation to pursue his own interests and head up a new venture.
Although he will be much missed, Drew is looking forward to moving on to fresh challenges.
As a result of his departure, sales and marketing director Adam Stroud and operations director Paul Rawlinson will join forces to fill the role.
From next month, Paxton will be directed by Stroud and Rawlinson who’ll be supported by a strong management team. They have both been at the company for over 15 years and bring a wealth of industry experience to the Paxton table. Both are looking forward to playing an even more prominent role in the company’s continuing development.
Adam Stroud has been the driving force behind Paxton’s sales growth in the UK and overseas. He’s chairman of Paxton Access Inc, Paxton’s US division.
Responsible for developing Paxton’s presence in overseas markets, Stroud has appointed offices in France, Germany, Eire and, most recently, in the Benelux. His commitment to pushing sales and introducing Paxton to emerging markets makes him “the ideal choice” to lead Paxton into the future.
Meeting the challenges of an ever-developing industry
Paul Rawlinson has been instrumental in furthering Paxton’s reputation as a genuine UK manufacturer, producing quality, reliable products fit to meet the challenges of an ever-developing industry.
In 2007, he spearheaded a project to open an Eastbourne factory to manufacture Paxton’s access control systems locally and meet the increasing demand for products. The venture significantly advanced Paxton’s output capacity, product quality and availability.
Rawlinson’s drive and enthusiasm has also improved the company’s already impressive performance of bringing innovative new products to market.
