Philips move enhances support structures for installers

The company has just completed a successful round of installer training programmes, and is to expand its in-house training facility at the new venue, catering to groups of 40.
Separate from the training facility will be a much larger demonstration facility, which the company aims to use to show its full range of CCTV, PA, paging and congress systems working in a single integrated suite.
Philips also aims to achieve faster response and turnaround on warranty and non-warranty repairs. A new ‘swap-out’ service on key products is planned, giving customers a free replacement product while their equipment is being repaired.
Reg Nicholls, UK general manager for Philips CSI, said: “Our move into this Philips corporate building, with our investment in superb new facilities allows us to continue to strengthen and develop our UK operations. The new facility will play a key role in helping us expand our UK operations.”
