Recorders now ‘In Memory of Leonardo’
The supplier says the new name for recorders in its DMS series means customers are “ideally equipped for the Dallmeier HD cameras, which will be available in autumn”.
Already purchased Leonardo recorders can be upgraded.
Dallmeier says the “future proofing” of the DMS series protects a buyer’s investment. Migration to HD cameras can be carried out later without the need for a new recorder.
Hybrid functionality means analogue, IP and HD cameras can be operated simultaneously.
“The H.264 compression standard ensures that HD cameras can even be used with small bandwidths,” says the company.
The Dallmeier HD cameras will have Cam-inPIX technology plus “high dynamic range and an outstanding adjustment. The result is highest colour fidelity and richness of detail, while the bit rate still remains low”.
