Reliance team honoured by Hounslow Business Against Crime

The Centre in Feltham is a retail mall boasting more than 50 stores including Asda, Matalan, Peacocks, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Bay Trading and Next. There’s also a range of restaurants and cafes, including BB’s Muffins, Jenny’s Cafe, Subway and Nando’s. The Centre has over 600 car parking spaces, and is close to the station and regular bus links.

For its part, Hounslow Business Against Crime (Feltham) was set up in August 2006 to bring together not only business partners but all people who live and work in Feltham by providing intelligence gathering systems that support the police and the local community.

Managers and officers applauded

The Reliance Security Services team at The Centre has been working in close partnership with the police service, the emergency services and the council. As a result, on 15 September Lorraine Prideaux (The Centre’s manager), Damian Campbell (Reliance’s contract manager), Gerhard Smit (site manager from Reliance) and security officer Sylvia Chambers were presented with certificates of appreciation for their hard work during an official awards ceremony at Hounslow Council Civic Centre.

“I’m delighted to be collecting this award on behalf of The Centre, Feltham and our security team” commented Prideaux. “From the very beginning, we’ve striven to ensure that The Centre and Feltham town centre offer a safe and secure environment for visitors and local residents. We’ll continue to do all we can to support the scheme.”

Eddie Collins – general manager for Reliance Security Services in Feltham – added: “We’re extremely proud of our security team at The Centre. Their achievements are evidenced by the many letters of thanks we have received from the general public and the police.”
