Gary Sykes and Nigel Austin have been appointed business development managers for the UK while Andrew Jackson has taken on responsibility for sales in the Nordic region, reporting to David Hammond, European sales manager.
Simon Shawley, Samsung Techwin’s UK and Ireland sales manager, said: “Earlier this year Samsung Techwin passed on responsibility for the sales and marketing of consumer products such as digital cameras, which has allowed us to concentrate on fully supporting our industrial products and in particular provided the opportunity for major investment in our CCTV division.”
In addition to the growth of the sales team, Samsung Techwin has also strengthened its pre and post sales technical support.
Gary Fletcher-Moore was appointed as European Technical Manager last April, having previously headed up the UK technical support team at Pelco. He has recruited experienced CCTV professionals including Samantha Bamford, previously with West London Security, and Chris Merrick, who joined from Chubb.
