‘Save a life’ message for cross-Ireland fire safety campaign

Fire and rescue services across Ireland are teaming up to back the annual North South Fire Safety Week – which runs from 3-9 October 2011.

Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service is working with its counterparts in the Republic of Ireland on this year’s theme, How to Save a Life.

Each day this week, fire services will be focusing on different life saving messages about fire safety at home, in businesses and for schools.

A new television, radio and poster advertising campaign will also be launched around the theme.
