The venture – entitled ‘Secom Vision’ – will provide end users with remote site monitoring and response from a Remote Video Receiving Centre (RVRC) in Kenley, Surrey.
At the RVRC ADPRO Video Central, a networked central monitoring software package receives and manages the information transmitted from the protected sites by both FastScan and InSight units.
If a potential security breach is picked up at Secom’s RVRC, security officers at the Centre can then verify the incident in less than three seconds (from pictures that are transmitted via a dedicated ISDN line), and then alert the police/keyholder.
