The acquisition of these contracts – and the addition of over 300 security officers – will strengthen Securitas’ position as the market leader in security services in the State of Hawaii. The company will now employ over 2,700 security staff in Hawaii.
According to an official statement, the purchase price is estimated to approximately GB pound 1.5 million. The acquisition will be consolidated in Securitas AB as of February 20.

Securitas AB’s Full Year Report for January-December 2008 will be published on Monday 16 February at 8.00 am. Its contents will be made available at www.securitas.com when released.
