Seeing the light
The Raylux and Raylux 25 illuminators have been used to improve the performance of CCTV, to deter intruders and allow the identification of vehicles and individuals entering and moving around the company’s depots.
Thomas Armstong, which has 23 branches from Stoke to Carlisle, wanted a lighting solution which would deliver top quality colour CCTV images at night but which offered minimal power consumption, low running and low maintenance costs. Typically the branches are in remote locations or areas which have very low lighting levels at night. “In the first installation we used two Raylux 100 illuminators and a third Raylux 25 to deliver illumination in an area that was particularly dark,” said Craig Foster, MD of Mac Security.
