Fireblitz has announced its new Alpha 600 and Beta 95 aerosol dry powder fire extinguishers and says they provide affordable and easy-to-handle protection for automotive, marine, caravan and recreational vehicles, as well as in a household environment.
The Alpha model is a 0.6kg unit with a 13B fire rating, while the Beta model is a 0.95kg unit with a 34B fire rating. They have lightweight aluminium bodies which weigh 0.74kg and 1.06kg respectively. These products are made in the UK to the requirements of BS 6165:2002, feature controlled discharge and have durable polypropylene plastic brackets.
These extinguishers are suitable for B & C class fires and are safe for use on electrical equipment. The working temperature range is -200 degrees C to 60 degrees C. The compact size of the Alpha unit is 285mm high X 98mm wide and 325mm high X 102mm wide for the Beta.
