The MiniD uses a standard SD card to record audio and high quality video in real time (25ips) and comes as standard with software to enable playback on a PC. 4 CIF recording (704 x 576) ensures high quality images are available for review.
A combination of “highly efficient MPEG4 compression and miniature components” reduces power consumption and space requirements. Low 12v DC power consumption means that the unit can even be powered by standard batteries, further maximising its flexibility.
As well as being used for covert and mobile surveillance, the unit has been integrated into an LCD monitor to provide an audit trail of an operator’s viewing pattern.
