The occasion attracted 12 teams from some of the UK’s top installation and distribution companies to the Goals soccer Centre in Leicester.
All were eager for a shot at winning the NVT trophy. Participating teams included NVT, Gratte Brothers London, Gratte brothers Belfast, quadrant video Systems, Siemens, Secure One, Nucam Systems, Abel Alarms Leicester, Abel Alarms Newcastle, Raw United, and ADT Leicester, who fielded two teams.
An enthusiastic crowd witnessed an afternoon of spirited matches, including group play-offs, followed by semis. The final was won by Raw United, who beat ADT Leicester 3-1 to lift the trophy.
NVT is planning to cater for a larger version of the event in 2006.
