State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

Something of a private affair

The answer to that question is Yes, but then why would the end user want to risk it if such a service could be offered on a secure private network outside of the Internet at a similar cost?

Networks have not been at all well understood by the majority of the security industry, and this has created a marked reluctance to adopt and introduce new IP-based technologies. Now, though, there is a managed service specifically designed for the security community. The router is provided ready to make its first call. This is then made to a zero touch management service which then configures the router remotely and sets up the IP address, the sub nets and the network. It’s simplicity itself as far as your installer is concerned.
