Songs About Security: Every Breath You Take/Theme from Peter Gunn Mashup
It’s a mashup of the hit 1984 song Every Breath You Take by The Police with the theme music by Henry Mancini from the 1950s TV private eye show Peter Gunn. The memorable Mancini tune won an Emmy award and two Grammys, and has been covered by many artists across the years.
The music, mashed up by Kathryn Dayak from HBO, featured in Episode 27 of the TV series The Sopranos titled Mr Ruggerio’s Neighborhood. It’s played when the FBI is planting a bug in Tony Soprano’s house.
