StreamScale upgrades Vivid DVRs
A “low cost” software upgrade allows existing users of the Vivid Lite – Baxall’s entry level model – to upgrade their systems to the full Vivid Plus specification.
Vivid Plus features Triplex functionality, single channel audio recording, DVD recording, SCSI connectivity and an s-video monitor output. The recording rate is also doubled from 25pps to 50pps (PAL) and 60pps (NTSC).
Another upgrade is a simple USB stick which allows Vivid users that have Baxall SP4 software already installed to replace all of their existing internal hard disks with new drives, taking advantage of disk drive capacity.
Also made available for a small charge is Baxall SP4 system software, which provides bug fixes to the operating system and allows users to take advantage of other upgrades.
