Sussex Police boosted by Tavcom Award
Richard Hoare (pictured, left) – CCTV manager at the Sussex Police Communications Department – has been presented with Tavcom Training’s inaugural ‘Performance Through Training’ Award by company managing director Mike Tennent.
Training has led to impressive results for the constabulary. Last year alone no less than 2,927 crimes were detected as a result of pro-active camera operation, eventually resulting in the arrest of no less than 1,533 offenders (a creditable 29% increase on the previous 12 month period).
