Network communications and signalling specialist Ascom has launched a UK fire and security IP alarm and signalling business. The new venture will be headed up by James Winter and Graeme Lewington, who have both worked previously worked for BT.
Ascom, based in Switzerland, is a supplier of products and solutions for network based operations, alarm transmission and mobile solutions. The UK division offers three product platforms: a scalable modular IP alarm communication solution; a web based service platform for control and monitoring centres, alarm receiving centres and police and rescue services; and a communications platform for first responders.
