The Fire Safety Order – five years on
A free seminar on the Fire Safety Order will be one of the highlights at the Workplace Management event, which runs from 11-12 October at Olympia, London.
The seminar session: The Fire Safety Order – building on five years’ experience – will examine how the legislation is impacting building managers and enforcers. Speakers include assistant commissioner Steve Turek of London Fire Brigade, Sara Higham of the Federation of Small Businesses and Graham Ellicott, chief executive of the Fire Industry Association. The session will be chaired by info4fire.com editor, Ron Alalouff.
Other topics to be covered include a panel discussion: Changes to Health and Safety – at what cost and to whom? and a presentation on means of escape signs in support of emergency lighting.
The event will include a Fire, Safety and Security zone showcasing products and services for facilities managers with fire, safety and security remits.
