Emergency lighting and fire systems manufacturer, Orbik Electronics, has introduced what it describes as “probably the thinnest exit sign in the world”.
The Petina, which is only 30mm deep, is a compact LED exit sign and is approximately half the width of regular exit signs. Available in a black, white or metallic silver-grey finish, it is discreet yet highly visible.
The legend is edge-lit using 3 x 1W LEDs to give a uniform display, and the powerful white LED illumination source means it is visible from more than 30 metres.
Petina is one of six LED products in the Orbik range. They are maintenance free offering a lifespan of up to 90,000 hours, so eliminating the need for regular lamp replacement.
