Thomas Armstrong sees the light

The Raylux and Raylux 25 illuminators have been used to improve the performance of CCTV, to deter intruders and allow the identification of vehicles and individuals entering and moving around the company’s depots.

Thomas Armstong, which has 23 branches from Stoke to Carlisle, wanted a lighting solution which would deliver top quality colour CCTV images at night but which offered minimal power consumption, low running and low maintenance costs. Typically the branches are in remote locations or areas which have very low lighting levels at night.

“In the first installation we used two Raylux 100 illuminators and a third Raylux 25 to deliver illumination in an area that was particularly dark,” said Craig Foster, MD of Mac Security.

“When we showed the client the quality of colour images that we achieved and explained the cost saving benefits, they were very impressed. As a result we are now installing the same solution at all the company’s sites.”
