Unipart Security Solutions invests in sales and training personnel

The four new members of the Unipart Security team are Jamie Hatfield (business development executive) and Matthew Smith (sales manager) for security guarding services, Nigel Diss (sales manager for the Electronic Solutions division) and Andie Fessey, who takes on the role of training specialist.

“We’re determined to maintain our reputation for offering the highest levels of service,” stated Colin Moore, managing director at Unipart Security Solutions. “As our business continues to grow, we’ll not hesitate to recruit experienced and highly-skilled security professionals to join our team.”

Moore continued: “The opening of our Monitoring and Response Centre a year ago means that we can offer clients a total security solution. In addition to the security guarding services which we have been providing to clients for over 20 years, we now also have the ability to offer a highly efficient and effective remote monitoring service.”

According to Moore this new facility has “transformed” the business and resulted in Unipart Security being “an attractive and price-competitive proposition” for both installers and end users looking for an alternative to their existing service providers.

Services on offer to customers

Unipart Security Solutions provides bespoke security guarding services, alarm and CCTV monitoring, vehicle and asset tracking, portfolio management, lone worker protection, risk consultancy and investigative solutions for a range of customers.

Each new client has brought the responsibility of securing goods and assets, providing an ongoing security challenge for the company’s in-house security managers who look to stay one step ahead of potential threats at all times.

Unipart Security capitalises on this experience, offering the same high level and range of solutions to a wider market, giving new clients the opportunity to benefit from ‘Security – The Unipart Way’. The security division’s passion for The Unipart Way (a philosophy which empowers all colleagues to seek ways in which to continually improve service provision that exceeds and not just meets our clients’ expectations) is part of an ongoing commitment from all members of staff to provide a world class service.

Unipart Security was the first company in the UK to attain both the National Security Inspectorate’s (NSI) Guarding Gold Award and the Security Industry Authority’s Approved Contractor Scheme registration using the NSI passport route.

The Unipart Security Monitoring and Response Centre in Oxford was officially opened by Jeff Little OBE, CEO of the NSI, at a ceremony which took place on 1 March, 2011. In addition to intruder, fire and CCTV system monitoring, the NSI Gold Category II Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC) facility is able to provide a wide range of other monitoring services, including asset and vehicle tracking, lone worker protection, security guarding management and a 24-hour Help Desk.
