Godsey will be based in San Diego, California, and will be responsible for IP camera customers in Northern America.
Godsey was previously employed as national distributor CRM manager at Sanyo Energy US, where he gained extensive sales experience, especially through the support of a national distribution sales network.
“With Bill’s addition, we win a skilled sales manager with a great focus on customers’ needs,” said Hardy Mehl, director of marketing at Basler Vision Technologies.
“Bill’s primary tasks will be to set up a complete sales network in the US. Up until now Basler has concluded distribution agreements for the European market only. As a next step we will expand our activities to the US, which we consider as an extremely important target market.”
