Voice sounder communicates with extinguishant system
[
The Nexus gas extinguishant voice sounder from Klaxon Signals is a fire alarm designed specifically to meet the requirements of gas extingishant systems, by supplying four stages of alarm, each with a separate and distinct fire warning message and tone.
This sounder comes complete with an interface unit that connects directly to the sounder and extinguishant panel. The interface unit monitors the outputs from the panel and sends out the appropriate message and tone via the sounder. A choice of up to seven messages can be stored in the sounder, and each message is preceded by a dedicated user selectable tone and/or flashing LED beacon. The combination of a clear voice message, powerful sounder and high efficiency LED beacon ensures a very effective warning tool.
All Nexus voice sounders have a USB interface that allows special messages in WAV format to be downloaded onto the sounder from any PC, providing users with the flexibility of adding or removing messages in-house.
They have a high 110 dB output, are weatherproofed to IP66 and can be installed in almost any location. A choice of sound outputs means there is a model to overcome most levels of background noise. Klaxon Signals is part of Halma plc and offers a range of fire alarm sirens, electronic sounders, buzzers, beacons and bells, in addition to evacuation technology and software.
