This win is testament to the growth VSG is experiencing in the Retail sector. In response to the win, VSG has employed Mark Langworthy as Westfield Account Director. Mark brings with him a wealth of experience having worked within the security industry for many years. He joins VSG after 21 years in security including 15 years with a city based security company as Operations Director. Mark will head up the team responsible for the support of front line staff and will be first point of call for Westfield management. Mark says of his appointment, “VSG is a customer focused security provider and gives a personalised service to all its clients. VSG, supply security and support services to Shopping Centres across the UK and Ireland as well as other business sectors. The organisation is heading into its eighth year of trading, with annualised turnover figures projected to top GB pound 100 million by the end of the financial year. VSG continues to expand its core markets and develop new arenas. The company’s geographic expansion in 2007 includes new offices in Dublin, Belfast and the City of London providing the platform for further development throughout the UK.
In the Guarding Sector VSG is now the fifth largest supplier in the UK and continues to win new business based on the company’s service delivery, standing and reputation.
The Westfield Group is the largest retail property group in the world by equity market capitalisation standards and the eighth largest entity listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
