Hochiki has extended its range of addressable, loop powered wall sounders with the introduction of the CHQ-WSB model. The latest model features an integral beacon within the sounder’s horn that has variable flash frequency, thanks to the use of high-intensity LED technology.
Available in red or white, the CHQ-WSB sounders include 51 user-selected alerts, all of which are EN 54-3 compatible, and has a sound output of between 90 dB(A) and 102 dB(A) at one-metre.
An auto shutdown mode is incorporated that allows the user to set a fixed time for the sounder and beacon to operate before automatically silencing itself, a feature designed to minimise unnecessary noise and light pollution.
The CHQ-WSB is rated IP21 but with the addition of a weatherproofing kit, this can be increased to IP65 for external applications. www.hochikieurope.com
