Previously unseen CCTV footage of the last hours of Princess Diana’s life has been released in court as part of the inquest into her death.
The footage – coloured pictures taken from the 43 cameras at the Ritz hotel in Paris – covers the final movements of Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed, who also died with the Princess in a car crash in a Paris tunnel on August 31, 1997.

Detectives are scouring CCTV footage in the hope that the gunmen who killed an innocent woman were caught on camera.
Three men and a woman are still being detained in connection with the shooting of care worker Magda Pniewska, who was killed when she was caught in the crossfire between two gunmen.
Ms Pniewska, 26, died on Tuesday evening after being hit in the head by a bullet as she left work at a nursing home in south-east London.

BAA faces a crackdown on “unacceptable” queueing times at Heathrow after a Competition Commission ruling that also endangered a crucial GB pound 9.3bn debt refinancing at Britain’s largest airport owner.
“They have failed to manage security queueing and queue times to avoid unacceptable delays to passengers, crew and flights and consequently have not furthered the reasonable interests of the users of Heathrow and Gatwick,” the commission said.

Iran is supplying the Taliban in Afghanistan with the same bomb-making equipment it provides to insurgents in Iraq, according to British military intelligence officers.
US Army General Dan McNeill, the commander of Nato forces in Afghanistan, said that the discovery of more than 50 roadside bombs and timers in lorries crossing the border from Iran last month proves that Iran’s Quds Revolutionary Guards are actively supporting the Taliban.
