Woldgate College has a student population of around 1,350 with approximately 200 teaching staff. The campus consists of seven main buildings on a 10 hectare site. Making use of the college’s IT infrastructure, the cameras are positioned in high traffic areas and potential troublespots.
The initial installations consists of six Ikegami JPEG 2000 IP cameras and a JPEG 2000 network recorder. The system allows users to select picture quality, frame rates, and a range of image sizes.
