Police have released CCTV of a motorist driving through Lincoln City Centre with a missing wheel.
Bringing new meaning to the phrase ‘when the wheels come off’ Philip Dickens was driving into the city from his Lincolnshire home eight miles away when he hit a wall.
He carried on for a mile before awkwardly coming to a stop and stumbling out of the Seat Ibiza.
Police can then be seen arriving at the scene and arresting him.
The incident happened in the small hours of 10 March.
Philip Dickens admitted dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol at Lincoln Crown Court and received an 18-month driving ban and a 12-month community order.
