I4S video: Phil Doyle on what’s new at Axis Communications

Late last week, Axis Communications held an open day for both customers and members of the security trade media to officially open the company’s all-new headquarters building for northern Europe.

The impressive building – located at Colonial Way in Watford – has been bespoke-designed to accommodate between 80 and 100 customers at any one time.

Both hands-on practical and theoretical training can be provided in relation to Axis Communications’ products which are housed in a special demo room.

Phil Doyle – regional director for northern Europe and The Networker on Info4Security – explained: “We’d grown out of the old offices in Hitchin, and needed a new office with a corporate feel. That’s why we moved to this site in Watford.”

Having explained the structure of the new location – which also houses numerous meeting rooms for staff and customer-focused dicussions – Doyle also talked in some detail about the Axis Camera Companion solution and ‘recording at the edge’.
