The company says that dealing with these sorts of incidents can be costly and time consuming, and the process can be exacerbated by the fact that if eradicated in one location, the problem often recurs in another.
ClearView’s systems are designed to help combat crime and deter the initial problem, as well as eradicating the technical and logistical issue of how to deploy cameras to the right location quickly and easily.
One of its systems, IMC (for Intelligent Moving Camera) is powered by Viseum software, and can be programmed to look for, track and record, certain types of human behaviour automatically and unmanned. The system works using a combination of fixed cameras for 360 degrees of cover and a high performance PTZ camera for close-up tracking.
When any of the fixed cameras detect activity that matches the pre-defined parameters programmed into the system, they activate the PTZ camera which then tracks and records events. All fixed cameras can record activity for continuity of evidence.
