The Fire and Security Products Division of Siemens Building Technologies has enhanced its digital product offering with the introduction of three recorders.
Models in the SiStore AX4, AX9 and AX16 ranges have the ability to operate as part of a network or a stand-alone system. They offer all the advantages of digital recording, including a far superior picture performance over analogue.
The systems’ multiplexing capability allows a collection of images from several cameras to be displayed, giving operators the choice of viewing images from a single camera full screen or rendered images from several cameras at a reduced size.
The recorders also contain built-in definable motion detection for each camera that reallocates frames from one camera not showing any activity to one that is – thus making the recording of scenes an extremely simple operation.
