Sony adds three HD models to extend digital FCB block camera range

The cameras, which come with digital and analogue outputs have Exmor(TM) CMOS sensor technology.

Samsung said: “The camera modules are amongst the most efficient on the market, requiring just 3.4W; are operational from -5oC to 60oC and are ideally suited to CCTV, intelligent transport, IP monitoring, and low vision applications.”

The FCB-EH6300 has been made the series’ flagship camera and uses its 1/3″ Exmor sensor to deliver 1080p video at 30fps. It has been built with a minimum required illumination of 0.5lx, a 240x total magnification and a wide 55.4o viewing angle.

The FCB-EH3400 and FCB-EH3300 use the 1/4″ Exmor sensor to capture 720p video at 60fps. They have been designed for applications, such as casino monitoring.

The camera modules have been made with privacy zone masking, a range of picture effects that include colour enhancement, e-flip, mirror image and nega-art and a diverse array of white balance models.
