So begins the video below, which comes courtesy of NOVA’s Cyber Security Lab.

Charting the rise of computer networks from the enormous computers found only in government buildings, universities and large corporates, the video explains why today’s labyrinthine web of PCs and other devices remain so vulnerable to malign influences.
